Johor‑Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS -SEZ)
The two governments have agreed to accelerate renewable‑energy projects within the SEZ and to develop cross‑border renewable‑energy trading. That means Johor could host large solar, hydrogen, and grid‑connected facilities whose output is partly exported to Singapore, turning the SEZ into a physical conduit for “green electrons” as well as physical goods.
