Do you know?

Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974
When the US imposes Section 301 tariffs, affected countries can and often do retaliate with their own tariffs on US exports, creating broader trade conflicts. For example, China responded to the 2018–2019 Section 301 actions with retaliatory tariffs that hit US agricultural exports particularly hard, altering global commodity flows and farm incomes. US retailers and manufacturers also report that these tariffs raise input costs and consumer prices at home.
