EPF’s first-quarter investment income jumped 51% year-on-year to RM27.73 billion, even as global markets were mixed in Q1 2026: the S&P 500 fell 4.33%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 3.19%, the Nasdaq 100 fell 5.82%, MSCI Europe ex-UK declined 2.3%, Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose about 10.5%, South Korea’s KOSPI gained about 2.4%, and Singapore’s STI advanced 5.1%.
