US-Iran MOU
Iran’s commitment to toll-free Strait of Hormuz passage lasts only 60 days, not permanently. The MOU requires Iran to guarantee safe, toll-free commercial ship passage through the Strait from the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman for exactly 60 days. This is a temporary concession on one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes rather than a permanent agreement.
