There are 4 key components of the Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) Sukuk Framework: (1) SRI sukuk proceeds are applied exclusively for funding of any activities or transactions relating to eligible SRI projects (2) the company must establish internal processes for evaluation and selection of eligible SRI projects (3) proceeds allocated for the eligible SRI projects are credited into a designated account or otherwise tracked in an appropriate manner and (4) the company must report annually on the original allocation amount for SRI projects, amount utilised, unutilised amount and its placement, and list of SRI projects invested.
